West Des Moines, IOWA – WDMPD officials said the 18-year-old student was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday.
His name is Evan Litt and he is now charged with stalking a person under the age of 18.
The 18-year-old suspect was booked into the Polk County Jail.
According to the court documents, the charge stems from multiple incidents that go back to November of 2020.
Litt, student at Valley High School, reportedly engaged in repeated stalking behavior with the victim.
He reportedly waited the victim to exit school and followed her to her car.
He is also accused of driving up and down her street, and even parking down a few houses to observe her home.
Authorities reportedly spoke with the student and advised him to stop all contact with the victim and he agreed to do so.
But, the 18-year-old man has been observed driving up and down the victim’s street and also showed up at her workplace multiple times.
