Linn County, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
It happened on Iowa Highway 1, south of Mount Vernon.
Toyota Camry, traveling southbound, crossed the road’s centerline and crashed head-on into a semi-truck.
The 22-year-old driver of the car was killed in the crash.
His name is Kyle Goodell and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
This incident is still under investigation.
