Johnson County, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 1 a.m. early Wednesday morning.
It happened near mile marker 233 on Interstate 80 in Johnson County.
Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
83-year-old driver with MG convertible made contact with both a Dodge Ram 3500 and Tesla, causing all three vehicles to crash.
The driver of the MG convertible, Jimmi Danielson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two driver suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
This incident is still under investigation.
