Waterloo, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Adnan Alibegic and he was sentenced to 110 months in prison on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
Prosecutors said the 28-year-old defendant will have to serve three years of supervised release following his prison time.
Alibegic pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a felon on June 22.
According to the court documents, the 28-year-old man was found passed out in his vehicle in October 2020.
The responding officers found a loaded, stolen gun next to him.
They also found methamphetamine, fentanyl and alprazolam.
Investigators searched his home and found two more firearms.
