Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 3 p.m. Sunday.
It happened in the 600 block of W. 16th Street.
Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews saw heavy smoke coming out of the attic vents.
They were able to extinguish the blaze in just 15 minutes.
No one was injured in this incident, officials said.
Three occupants were displaced from the home due to the fire damage.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
