Cedar Falls, IOWA – Cedar Falls Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 1:51 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened near the intersection of College and West 22nd Streets.
Cedar Falls Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Two other men with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital in private vehicles.
Police officials said that one of the injured men died and another was taken to a different hospital in critical condition.
The third man was treated and released, CFPD officials said.
Authorities arrested 25-year-old suspect and charged him with attempted murder and two gun charges.
He was later identified as Brandon Mitchell.
Another 24-year-old suspect, Daniel Judon, was arrested for intimidation with a gun.
