Davenport, IOWA – According to the statement, the traffic signal arm on Harrison St at 16th St was blocking Harrison south of 16th.
The responding crews spent several hours to remove the signal from the roadway.
Police officials said that motorists will need to stop at the intersection of 16th St and Harrison and watch for traffic before turning or moving through the intersection.
Harrison St traffic will not stop.
On Monday, right before 7 a.m. the Davenport Public Works published on Facebook that the Harrison St has re-opened at 16th St.
