Center Point, IOWA – Iowa State Patrol officials said the two-vehicle crash occurred around 4:09 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
It happened on Lewis Access Road and Ford Lane.
lowa State Patrol troopers, Linn County Sheriff’s deputies, Center Point Fire Department crews and Center Point Ambulance personnel responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash.
The responding troopers discovered that a silver Ford F150 had been struck by a white GMC Sierra and both vehicles remained blocking the northbound lanes.
According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, a witness reportedly said that the Ford was pulling out in front of the GMC and failed to yield when entering a through highway.
The driver of the Ford F150, later identified as Daniel Horak, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the GMC Sierra, later identified as Ronald Salow, was unharmed.
