Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, the chase started at around 9:10 p.m. Monday night.
Deputy found a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Cedar Rapids, traveling northbound on I-380 south of Center Point.
When he tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver refused to stop.
The driver and the passenger attempted to jump out of the moving vehicle.
The driver was run over by the moving vehicle and died at the scene. The passenger was taken into custody.
This incident is under investigation.
