Linn County, IOWA – According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred right before 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. It happened at Sutliff Rd and Bud Rd. Davenport, IOWA – According to the state officials, this funding will provide vulnerability risk assessments free of charge for all 1,500 K-12 school buildings in the state and create a School Safety Improvement Fund making up to $50,000 available per school building to implement recommended safety measures. Cedar Falls, IOWA – According to Cedar Falls Public Safety, the crash occurred around 11:09 a.m. Tuesday morning.  It happened at the intersection of Hudson Road and Viking Road. Cedar Falls Police and Fire Rescue personnel responded to a report of a rollover crash involving three vehicles. The responding officers discovered that one of the drivers was found ejected from a vehicle. The 33-year-old driver, later identified as Darian Kelly, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The 29-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with an incurable disease at just 20 weeks pregnant, says she first realized something was wrong when she woke up and couldn’t move her toes. Over the next few days, the pregnant woman was unable to feel her right leg and went to see her doctor. Harrison County, IOWA – According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, the teacher was arrested and taken into custody on Friday. His name is Benjamin Work and he is now charged with five counts of S–ual Exploitation by a School Employee, five counts of Lascivious Conduct with a Minor and two counts of Indecent Contact with a Child, Iowa DPS said. Davenport, IOWA – According to the state officials, this program is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Local Food Purchase Assistance program and is expected to bring $1.8 million to farmers for food grown, raised and processed in Iowa. It happened in the 2300 block of University Ave. Des Moines Police Department officers responded to a report of an armed robbery.
