Cedar Rapids, IA – According to the Cedar Rapids Police Department, the 19-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Friday. His name is Mikhel Snyder and he is alleged to have attacked a male victim with a knife following an argument late Friday morning. After the alleged assault, the suspect fled the scene at 385 15th Street SE and was soon spotted by officers several blocks away. He attempted to elude officers but was quickly taken into custody. City officials said that the park will be closed for two days as the Parks and Recreation Department completes maintenance repairs. The park will reopen for use on June 10, weather permitting, officials said. The woman said she suffered stroke at only 29 years old. She said that she clearly remembers not just the symptoms but how she also explained them away. Doctors initially diagnosed her with multiple sclerosis. Linn County, IOWA – According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 6:51 p.m. Saturday. It happened at 8300 Ely Road. Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies, Linn County Sheriff’s Rescue, Ely Fire Department, Area Ambulance, and Lifeguard Air Ambulance responded to a report of a single vehicle crash. The 45-year-old man, who legally purchased semiautomatic rifle at a local gun shop less than three hours before the shooting, went to the local hospital and shot his doctor to death because the surgeon didn’t fix his back pain. On May 19, the shooter went into the hospital for a back surgery. Over the next few weeks, he called his back surgeon multiple times complaining of back pain and sought further treatment.
