DAVENPORT, IOWA – Gunfire sent Davenport shoppers scattering on the busiest holiday shopping weekend of the year. Davenport police say two groups of people were arguing just before noon Sunday at NorthPark Mall when one person pulled a gun and fired at least two shots. No one was reported hit and everyone involved and nearby fled. Police and Scott County Sheriff’s deputies responded, shut down a section of the mall and found multiple shell casings. DAVENPORT – Pandemic restrictions are putting many businesses in a bind. Mike Roseman, the owner of a Davenport and Muscatine bowling alley, has had to shut both of them down because of new mitigations in Iowa. In a recent proclamation by Iowa Gov. DAVENPORT, IOWA – Davenport police were searching Friday night for a wounded person from a rolling shootout that occurred on East 10th Street between Farnam Street and Grand Avenue at 4:42 p.m. Friday. Police located 18 shell casings of at least two different calibers scattered along East 10th Street. Later that same day, a mother of five died after getting shot at Chuck E. Cheese.
