Davenport, IA – The City of Davenport officially recognized participants in the Quad City Arts Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship program for their contributions to the new Good Neighbor Project mural.
While many of the young artists were unable to attend the meeting, city leaders expressed appreciation for the creativity and dedication each artist brought to the project.
The mural, now completed, can be viewed on Harrison Street near the Davenport Police Station.
City officials credited the youth apprenticeship program for helping bring the community-driven vision to life and encouraged residents to visit the site to see the artwork in person.
