Davenport, IOWA – Davenport Fire Department officials said this incident occurred right before 5 p.m. Thursday.
It happened in the 3100 Block of West 66th Street.
Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews saw smoke coming out of the chimney.
Crews discovered that all residents left the home before they arrived on scene.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Crews used fans to remove smoke from the home, officials said.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
