Bernard, IOWA – According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 2 p.m. Thursday.
It happened at 159 Laban Road.
Bernard Fire and EMS, Farley Fire Department and Cascade Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews discovered that a barn and several pieces of farm equipment had sustained damage from the fire.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
The fire caused an estimated $80,000 in damage, officials said.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
