Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, the 36-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody early Sunday morning.
His name is Zackary Lacy and he is now facing multiple charges, including: eluding; possession of controlled substance second offense and operating under the influence.
The police chase started right after 2 a.m. early Sunday morning.
ISP trooper was reportedly driving on Kimberly Road when he saw the suspect’s SUV driving north on Brady Street not displaying plates on the rear of the vehicle.
The responding deputy then attempted to stop the suspect’s vehicle, but Lacy took off.
The police chase ended on Division Street, where the suspect’s collided with another vehicle.
The responding officers reportedly found bag of suspected marijuana and cocaine.
A breath test resulted in a blood alcohol content of .309.
