Benton County, IOWA – According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, this incident occurred right before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened in the 1500 block of 70th St.
Benton County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a Ford Mustang, but the driver failed to stop and drove up to speeds of 90 mph.
The driver tried turning onto a gravel road at 13th Ave, causing the car to rollover in a ditch.
His name is Slayne Rayman and he was arrested.
The 39-year-old man is now charged with eluding pursuing law enforcement vehicle, driving while barred and additional traffic offenses.
This incident remains under investigation.
