45-year-old man arrested, facing multiple charges after leading Linn County deputies on a brief chase

Linn County, IOWA – LCSO officials said the police chase started around 3:09 a.m. early Monday morning.

Linn County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle along I-380 for speeding.

The 45-year-old driver reportedly became non-compliant and sped away.

The brief police chase ended on North Towne Court NE.

The 45-year-old driver and the single occupant of the vehicle was arrested and taken into custody.

His name is LaShaun Perry and he is now facing multiple charges, including: attempting to elude, interference with official acts, operating while intoxicated, open container, and other charges.
