Black Hawk County, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, this incident occurred north of County Road D-46, right after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Iowa State Patrol trooper initiated a traffic stop on a pickup truck for speeding on Highway 21.
Authorities say the driver gave wrong information about his ID and then drove away, prompting a car chase.
The vehicle pursuit lasted around 30 minutes before the pickup crashed at the intersection of Tama Road and M Avenue.
The Iowa State Patrol says the 32-year-old driver, George Williamson, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He was cited for five stop sign violations and speeding.
