Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 10 p.m. Thursday.
It happened in the 4300 block of S. Concord St.
Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews saw fire coming through the second-story roof.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in this incident.
Officials said that the occupants of the residence were not able to re-occupy the building and were assisted by other family after the property was released by the Fire Department.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
