Buchanan County, IOWA – According to the police officials, her name is Heather Beck and she was taken into custody on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old woman is now charged with attempted murder and second-degree criminal mischief.
This incident occurred right before 12 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
It happened in the 100 block of 4th Avenue NW.
Independence Police Department officers responded to a report of a road rage incident.
The responding officers discovered that the driver of one car repeatedly struck another car in an area spanning six to seven blocks.
The 36-year-old suspect is being held in the Buchanan County Jail.
