Davenport, IA – His name is Gabriel Hoyt, local resident, and he faces two charges of possession with intent to deliver, two charges of having no drug-tax stamp, and parole violation, all felonies.
According to the police officials, around 7:10 p.m. Sept. 6, 2020, Davenport police responded to the 400 block of East 9th Street about a disturbance and someone being held against their will.
Through a window, police saw a codefendant opening and dividing a vacuum-sealed bag of marijuana. The codefendant was taken into custody.
Multiple fingerprints were found on multiple items seized during the search. Hoyt’s fingerprints were found on a plastic bag inside of a Cubs lunchbox, which also had numerous drugs and digital scales.
