IOWA – According to the police officials, the chase started on I-80 in Johnson County after an Iowa State Patrol trooper tried to pull over the suspect vehicle after clocking it traveling at 92 mph in a 65 mph zone.
The suspect stopped the vehicle. But, after he handed over his information, he sped away.
The suspect drove west on I-80, then north on I-380, and then east on Highway 30.
The driver faces two counts of Child Endangerment, Speeding, Eluding, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and other related charges.
The suspect was also wanted on an Iowa warrant and one out-of-state warrant.
