Davenport, IA – The City of Davenport officially recognized participants in the Quad City Arts Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship program for their contributions to the new Good Neighbor Project mural. While many of the young artists were unable to attend the meeting, city leaders expressed appreciation for the creativity and dedication each artist brought to the project. Davenport, IA – On the morning of July 24, 2025, the Davenport Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the 5900 block of Woodland Avenue. The call came in around 5:00 a.m., prompting a large response including three engines, two ladder trucks, an auto-aid ladder from Bettendorf, and a District Chief — totaling 25 personnel.
