A total of 363,080 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Iowa and 5,927 people have died with the virus. The state also reports a total of 983,543 Iowans are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Police in North Carolina are hunting for a suspect who opened fire on a car on Wednesday night, hitting and killing a 7-year-old boy. Deputies were called to the shooting just after 11 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 7-year-old body, who had been shot in the neck. The youngster was rushed to hospital, but sadly died of his injuries. Davenport, IA – According to the statement, at least 77 inmates at the Iowa State Prison in Fort Madison were given excessive amounts of the Pfizer-BioNTech jab. The officials have reported that two medical staff members from the Iowa Department of Corrections reportedly incorrectly administered the vaccine, over-vaccinating the 77 inmates. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is Trenton David Curtner and he is charged with two counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree, a Class B felony that carries a prison sentence of 25 years. The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the two children between May and October 2020. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, his name is De’An A. Humphrey. He was booked into the Scott County Jail at 11:35 p.m. Thursday. The 18-year-old man was charged with interference with official acts, a Class D felony punishable by five years in prison, and carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by two years in prison. Humphrey is expected to appear in Scott County Jail Friday morning via video arraignment.

Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, DPD officers responded to a shooting call around 3:40 p.m. Thursday at the 1300 block of Marquette Street. When the officers arrived on scene, they found two victims. The victims were taken to a local hospital. De’An A.
