Davenport, IA – According to the officials, the suspect is set to appear April 16 in Scott County Court. His name is Vincent Brocato and he is a suspect in an incident that happened Feb. 17. Brocato is being held on $500,000 bond in Scott County Jail. DPD responded to the 1400 block of Main Street to check on someone’s welfare and found a woman who had suffered a gunshot wound. The harrowing 911 call of a father confessing to beating his 5-year-old son to death with a baseball bat has been released. The man told the 911 dispatcher: “I just killed my son.” The 31-year-old dad from Ohio has been charged with aggravated murder following the death of his son. The boy’s uncle said that the 5-year-old boy was autistic and communicated with a tablet. The Iowa Department of Public Health also reported 14 more COVID-19 related deaths and 809 more cases of the virus. The state reported 3,649 individuals were tested for COVID-19 . Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, his name is  Desmend Qwauntrill Williams and he is being held in the Scott County Jail on cash-only bonds of $15,000 and bonds of $10,000 cash or surety. The officers were looking for the suspect since June 17 when a warrant was issued for his arrest in the case. Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, a deputy with the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office took a report of sexual abuse that occurred in Des Moines County Iowa in 2018 and 2019. The victim said that the suspect is their uncle, 48-year-old Raymond Lee Edwards Jr. of Davenport. On March 26, arrest warrants were issued for the suspect for two counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree. The 67-year-old woman was on a Zoom call with her co-workers. But the mother-of-two was unable to complete her meeting as she was brutally murdered by one of her sons. The officials have reported that the extension was ordered due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The order only applies to individual filers using the IA 1040 form and related forms.
