Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, his name is Michael Christopher Lewis and he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Lewis was sentenced for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and felon in possession of a firearm. Police arrested Lewis and found he had a loaded black handgun and $617 of drug proceeds in his possession. A search of his car found methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, morphine and fentanyl, and pills, as well as a loaded handgun. The case was investigated by the Davenport Police Department.

Davenport, IA – According to the police report, his name is Marshall Popp and he faces a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The state reported 2,986 individuals were tested for COVID-19. A total of 1,626,133 individuals have been tested in Iowa since the pandemic began. The state’s COVID-19 vaccine administration dashboard on Friday morning shows a total of 524,948 people in Iowa are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19. He was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release and pay $300 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. He admitted possessing the firearms in this case in connection with and furtherance of his drug trafficking activities. The investigation was handled by the Davenport Police Department, Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

Davenport, IA – According to the police report, DPD officers were called after they received reports of an unresponsive person in a vacant residence. When the officers arrived on scene, they found the unresponsive person had died. The investigators determined there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding their death.
