Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, his name is Dwayne A. Rupp and he waived his right to a speedy trial and requested that a trial date be set for the case. The suspect allegedly stole approximately $290,036 from LPW-I, Inc., a machinery movement and installation company based in Davenport. He also used LPW-I funds to purchase machinery for his personal use, according to court documents. Lightner has not been charged criminally. The lawsuit claims these schemes led to known losses of $1.2 million for LPW-I.

Davenport, IA – According to the police report, the Racine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint of a sexual assault in the town of Rochester, Wisconsin. A woman found several videos on a laptop of herself being sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance of which she had no recollection and believed she was drugged. Copies of the videos were made by the woman and turned over to the deputies. The male suspect was identified as Shane M. Stanger. Deputies located Stanger and took him into custody. IOWA – According to the court documents, Deborah Sandoval and Salvador Sandoval, were each charged with three counts after their arrests. The new affidavit includes 13 charges against Salvador Sandoval and five charges against his mother. It includes a video that allegedly shows Salvador Sandoval fighting with several police officers inside the Capitol building. The state is reporting a total of 346,310 people in Iowa have tested positive since the pandemic began, and a total of 5,675 people have died. Hospitalizations went up slightly with 185 people reportedly hospitalized with the virus. That’s up from the 171 patients reportedly hospitalized on Monday. There are currently 37 COVID-19 patients in the ICU and 16 on ventilators.
