IOWA – According to the police report, the single-vehicle crash happened around 11:30 p.m. in Henderson County. The boy from Oquawka, Ill, was driving a 2008 red Chevrolet Impala north on 1450 East. He apparently lost control, ran off the east side of 1450 East and hit the embankment. The car overturned multiple times, and came to rest on 1450 East, partially in the west ditch. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Davenport, IA – According to the statement, 539 people who had tested positive for COVID-19 were added to the state’s total, which now stands at 339,208. Unfortunately, the Iowa Department of Public Health reported 3 COVID-19 related deaths as well. IOWA – According to the statement, the University Police has announced that they are investigating burglaries at three different resident halls between February 16th and March 1st. The officials are strongly recommending all resident hall occupants and those in the campus community to lock their doors at all times, even if they are only leaving for a short time. Davenport, IA – According to the officials, a total of 768,426 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Iowa, and a total of 208,429 people in Iowa are fully vaccinated. The state plans to expand vaccine eligibility to those 64 years of age and younger with medical conditions. As of Friday morning the state is reporting a total of 338,669 people in Iowa have tested positive for COVID-19 and 5,549 people have died with the virus. IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident happened on Highway 151 near Sundown Rd in Bernard at 10:47 a.m. Friday morning in Dubuque county. A 24-year-old man was getting out of a broken-down vehicle parked on the side of the road and entered the traveled portion of the roadway when he was struck by a minivan heading southbound. Davenport, IA – Back in February, the governor relaxed most of the restrictions in the state she put in place to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The proclamation removed the mask requirement for those spending 15 minutes or more in an indoor area within 6 feet of people not in their household.
