Davenport, IA – According to the police report, his name is Nicholas Plies, 35-year-old, of Davenport. He was in custody to face felony charges of second-degree burglary and three charges of probation violation. Davenport police officers responded to the 1800 block of West 9th Street after a report of a burglary in progress, around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. When the officers arrived on scene, they found Plies inside with the victim’s cell phone, identification and paperwork in his pants pockets, smoking her cigarettes and wearing her clothing.

Davenport, IA – According to the police officials, Davenport police officers responded to a shooting call at the 100 block of West 65th Street. The investigation suggests that people in two different vehicles got into a dispute. An occupant in one of the vehicles fired at the other vehicle. Davenport Police officers found a man with a gunshot wound and he was transported to a local medical facility for non-life-threatening injuries. Davenport, IA – According to the police report, the crash happened Tuesday morning north of Davenport on Highway 61 near Long Grove. Unfortunately, the 47-year-old Gary Warren and 45-year-old David Muller, both of Maquoketa, died. According to the police report, Warren was driving and Muller was a passenger in a car that was hit when an oncoming van crossed the median. Another passenger in the car, a 19-year-old man, remains hospitalized in Iowa City in critical condition. IOWA – According to the statement, the officers responded to a shooting call around 10:50 p.m. in Des Moines. When the officers arrived on scene, they found that more than a dozen shots had been fired into the home and that one had hit a child, who had been sitting inside. Davenport, IA – According to the officials, this is a part of an $11 million investment through the state’s “Rebuild Illinois” project which pumps money into economic development projects across the state. The money was distributed to projects that need a lot of money upfront in order to get started. The organization will use these funds to help continue building its new Rock Island location.
