Davenport, IA – According to the statement, the hospitalizations remained at a low level statewide. The state was reporting 336,311 cases of the virus and 5,471 deaths since the pandemic began. The number of people hospitalized with the virus across the state crept up Sunday to 196 from Saturday’s 181. That total remains well below the November peak of more than 1,500 patients. Iowa officials said 169,617 people have now received both required doses of a coronavirus vaccine in the state.

Davenport, IA – His name is Shelby Lamonte Miller, 52-year-old, of Davenport, and he was charged for conspiracy to distribute cocaine base, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine base. After he serves his sentence, he was ordered to serve eight years of supervised release and pay $300 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. The investigation began when law enforcement learned Miller was distributing crack cocaine in the Davenport area. The incident began at 18th and Ripley Streets before it ended on Hickory Grove Road. The IDPH has allocated 1,170 additional Pfizer vaccine to the Scott County Health Department. The additional doses are allocated for the Phase 1B.
