Davenport, IA – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday around 1:30 p.m. When the crews arrived at the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the front door of one of the apartments. The owner was already out of the unit. Firefighters entered the apartment and found smoke throughout the home and heavy fire in the basement that prevented them from being able to enter the basement. A dog was safely removed from the apartment. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. This story will be updated when new information is available.

Davenport, IA – According to the police report, DPD officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of Heatherton Drive February 7, 2021 around 11 ta.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found Roylee Richardson, 29-year-old, in the apartment.
