DAVENPORT, Iowa – Davenport Police are asking the public to help find 16-year-old Jillian Terry. She was reportedly last seen in the early morning hours on Monday, December 14th in the 400 block of Brady Street. Terry was reportedly last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, and carrying a backpack. Those who know Terry say she left a note saying she contacted an old friend, but they’re unaware of who. If anyone has seen Terry or knows where she may be, you’re asked to contact Davenport Police.

DAVENPORT, IOWA – The boss of a Davenport man killed in a crash is doing what he can to help the family through the heartache. The accident happened on Illinois Route 40 in Bureau County on the evening of December 3rd. 39-year-old Lloyd Jones and his 11-year-old daughter Bella died in the crash. His wife and son were hospitalized, but have since recovered. Jones worked for Knilans’ Furniture and Interior Design in Davenport. The owner says, Jones and his daughter have been a light to the community. He started a GoFundMe page for the family that’s getting significant donations.

DAVENPORT, IOWA – Thieves, or what some call “porch pirates” are striking local homes as Christmas presents start to arrive. “You’re not just taking stuff – you’re taking, you know, gifts that’s for Christmas,” Brinley Brunner from Davenport said. DAVENPORT, IOWA – The six new victims raised the Quad-Cities’ death toll to 69 in the first 11 days of December – that’s 22% of the Q-C’s COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Rock Island County’s total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 195, while Scott County has recorded a total of 116 deaths linked to the virus. DAVENPORT, IOWA – A driver who hit the car of a family enjoying Christmas lights ruined a peaceful evening Saturday in Davenport. Police were at a crash shortly after 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 13th and Division Streets after a family, including a granddaughter and grandmother, who were driving around to see Christmas lights were struck by a driver who didn’t stick around afterward. DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Davenport synagogue was vandalized on Thursday, just before the first night of Hanukkah. The Rabbi said Sunday Davenport Police and the FBI are now investigating the vandalism as a hate crime. The brick walls in Davenport at Temple Emanuel surround a sacred space.
