DAVENPORT – After an early-morning vehicle chase on Wednesday, a Davenport man was being held Thursday in Scott County Jail to face multiple charges. Brandon Scott Ashby, 28, faces felony charges of eluding, possession with intent to deliver and theft-second, along with misdemeanor charges of driving while barred, having no insurance and reckless driving. DAVENPORT, IOWA – A family in Davenport might not have the Christmas they were hoping for after an apartment break-in. Thieves took almost every gift inside after coming through the sliding door in back. The mother says a neighbor saw people walk out with things from the apartment. A television and wrapped christmas gifts for her three kids were stolen. They also took bleach from the kitchen and poured it on their couch and other parts of the home. Davenport police do not believe it’s a random crime as their investigation continues.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – As distribution of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines begins, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is warning the public to be aware of possible scams. Iowa – Iowa Western Community College has been awarded a $172,700 Coronavirus Relief Registered Apprenticeship Incentive Grant to expand an existing apprenticeship, while CHI Health Missouri Valley has been awarded a $250,000 grant to develop a certified nursing assistant registered apprenticeship program.
