DAVENPORT, IOWA – Davenport police were in the area of LeClaire and 11th and 12th streets, where a multi-vehicle accident happened about 4 p.m. Saturday. Police talked with neighbors, one of whom was visibly upset. Three vehicles apparently sustained damage in the crash, where Local 4 News was the only station at the scene. A car parked on the street sustained major damage to its back portion. We do not know whether anyone was injured or ticketed.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Police say a man has died after a crash involving a car and motorized bicycle in Davenport. At approximately 10:09 p.m. on Monday, Davenport police, Davenport Fire and Medic EMS responded to the 600 block of East 15th Street in reference to the head on crash. Preliminary information determined the car was traveling west bound on 15th Street when it was struck by a motorized bicycle traveling against traffic, the wrong way on the one way street. DAVENPORT – Evelyn Cook is an excellent quilter, but when it comes to conjuring up clever names for her creations, she usually defers to others. Not so, though, with her “50 Shades of Tickle Me Pink” quilt now on display at the Quad-City Botanical Center, Rock Island. The quilt consists of 25 blocks of different, primarily pink floral designs accented with green. DAVENPORT, IOWA – Local 4 News is on the scene of a shots fired incident in Davenport, where at least 10 shell casings have been located by police. DAVENPORT, Iowa — For nearly six months, Randy Burke battled COVID-19, but the Iowa man has finally prevailed. “This is the greatest Christmas that we will ever have. That’s for sure,” Randy Burke told KWQC as friends and family streamed past his Davenport home in an emotional drive-by homecoming celebration. All told, Randy Burke spent 163 days in medical treatment after contracting the novel coronavirus, including 15 weeks in the intensive care unit, five weeks at a rehabilitation center and another four weeks at Genesis Medical Center West.
