Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the fatal accident occurred around 10:09 p.m. Tuesday night. It happened on East Locust Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers found one adult male victim. Police said the 23-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead. Investigators believe that Chevrolet Malibu was traveling eastbound on East Locust Street when it struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway. This incident remains under investigation. Davenport, IOWA – Davenport Police Department officials said this incident occurred right after 11 p.m. Tuesday night. It happened on Pine Street. Johnson County, IOWA – According to the Iowa State Patrol, the fatal accident occurred around 12:17 p.m. Sunday. It happened on Interstate 80. Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash. The responding troopers discovered that Toyota Prius traveling eastbound was struck from behind by a International semi, which was in the same lane. ISP officials said that one person is dead, one has serious injuries and one has minor injuries. The victims’ identities have not yet been released. This incident remains under investigation. Dallas County, IOWA – DCSO officials said the shooting occurred right before 11 p.m. late Sunday night. It happened on 123rd Place in Perry. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said that sdeputies responded to a shooting call. When the deputies arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim. Police said the 22-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment. He was later identified as Hunter Keasey. Muscatine, IOWA – City officials said that Liberty has been used as a detour during the Grandview Avenue reconstruction and the higher-than-normal traffic has created buckles in the roadway. According to the statement, Pearl will be closed in both directions at Liberty while Liberty will be reduced to one-lane of traffic during the repair work. Linn County, IOWA – According to the ISP officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon. It happened near the corner of 80th Street SW and 16th Avenue SW. Iowa State Patrol troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash. The responding troopers discovered that the driver of Kia Spectra left the roadway and struck a pile of rocks.
