Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Police Department, the fatal accident occurred around 10:09 p.m. Tuesday night. It happened on East Locust Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers found one adult male victim. Police said the 23-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead. Muscatine, IOWA – City officials said that Liberty has been used as a detour during the Grandview Avenue reconstruction and the higher-than-normal traffic has created buckles in the roadway. According to the statement, Pearl will be closed in both directions at Liberty while Liberty will be reduced to one-lane of traffic during the repair work.
