Muscatine, IOWA – According to the city officials, the new amphitheater is called “The Wave.” The new amphitheater will be a multi-purpose entertainment and recreation venue intended to service both small celebrations and large community events according to RDG. Coralville, IOWA – According to the court documents, the 32-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to reckless vehicular homicide, third offense of operating while intoxicated, driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia. His name is Bryce Wagehoft and prosecutors said he was speeding when he passed another vehicle on a rural road and hit the victim’s vehicle. The accident occurred in April 2020. The 43-year-old victim, Dawn Stout, was pronounced dead. A toxicology report revealed that the defendant had amphetamines, marijuana and opiates in his system. Story County, IOWA – According to the Iowa State University Police, both suspects were arrested and taken into custody on Monday. Abdullateef Malallah, 18, and Ty Jerman, 19, are now charged with threat of terrorism, which is defined by Iowa Code as an act intended to intimidate or coerce.  Both students are freshmen at Iowa State University, officials said. Police officials said the 19-year-old man reportedly severely beat his 60-year-old neighbor because he is gay. ”You know why I have to do this. You’re gay. You’re evil. Davenport, IOWA – Police officials said the 20-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Saturday.  His name is Tremiere Walton and he is now charged with multiple charges, including: intimidation with a dangerous weapon and use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime. The charges stem from July 25, 2021 incident. The shooting occurred in the 1900 block of North Harrison Street. Investigators believe the 20-year-old suspect shot at least three times at the victim’s vehicle. The responding officers reportedly found three 9mm casings on the scene. Coralville, IOWA – Coralville Police Department officials said the accident occurred on Sunday. It happened at the intersection of Front Street and Forevergreen Road. Coralville Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers discovered that the 27-year-old driver didn’t stop at a stop sign, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 7 p.m. Monday evening. It happened at the intersection of Welcome Way and 46th Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers discovered that multiple vehicles crashed at the location. Nissan Maxima was traveling southbound on Welcome Way when the driver failed to stop for a red light and struck two vehicles.  At least two individuals suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
