Davenport, IOWA – According to the Davenport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 1:41 a.m. Wednesday. It happened near the intersection of Jersey Ridge Road and East 51st Street. Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire. The responding crews saw smoke coming from the top of the house. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, officials said. Davenport, IOWA – According to the police officials, the accident occurred right before 5 a.m. early Sunday morning. It happened on Harrison Street. Davenport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim. Cedar Rapids Fire Department crews responded to a report of a mobile home fire. The responding crews saw smoke and flames coming through the roof area of the home. Linn County, IOWA – According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 3 a.m. early Sunday morning.  It happened in the 2700 block of Edgewood Road. Linn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash. The responding deputies located the vehicle in a ditch and on its side. They discovered that the vehicle’s occupants were taken to a hospital for treatment. Waterloo, IOWA – According to the Waterloo Police Department, his name is Eugene Octavius Love Jr. and he was taken into custody on Thursday. The 19-year-old suspect is now charged with intimidation with a weapon. Love was arrested in connection to the January 8 shooting at a Waterloo Prime Mart that killed 18-year-old Courtney Lamont Harris. The victim was reportedly found dead in the parking lot of the Prime Mart on Broadway Street.
