Fire causes $50,000 in damages to Dubuque County farm building

Dubuque County, IOWA – According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, this incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Monday.

It happened in the 17000 block of Holy Cross Rd.

Holy Cross Fire crews, Farley Fire crews, New Vienna Fire crews and Epworth Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire.

The responding crews discovered a farm building engulfed by flames.

Officials say the blaze caused significant damage to a building nearby. 

No one was injured in this incident.

The total estimated damage between both buildings is estimated to be $50,000.

The cause of fire remains under investigation.
