Davenport, IOWA – Davenport Fire Department officials said this incident occurred right before 1 a.m. early Monday morning.
It happened in the 1700 Block of W 69th Street.
Davenport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
The responding crews found heavy fire on the side of a detached two car garage and made an aggressive attack from the exterior using a hand line.
The garage and two vehicles inside sustained damage.
DFD officials said that there were no injuries reported with this fire.
No occupants were displaced by this fire and Red Cross assistance was not needed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
