Davenport, IA – Back in February, the governor relaxed most of the restrictions in the state she put in place to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The proclamation removed the mask requirement for those spending 15 minutes or more in an indoor area within 6 feet of people not in their household.
It also ended mask requirements for those in state buildings and some businesses, such as barbershops.
The governor’s order also ended limits on the number of customers in a business or a requirement that they stay socially distant.
The proclamation encourages Iowans, businesses and organizations to take reasonable public health measures consistent with guidance from the Iowa Department of Public.
