In the last seven days, the number of Iowans testing positive to COVID-19 increased by 6,125

Davenport, IA – According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, the 6,125 new cases are bringing the state’s total to 425,363, since the pandemic began.

The Iowa Department of Public Health has reported that the number of total deaths increased by 16, to a total of 6,226 since the pandemic began.

The state reports 99 patients in ICU.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says 1,553,703 Iowans have been tested for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

The number of people fully vaccinated in Iowa increased from 1,560,228 to 1,575,728, an increase of 15,500.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 48% of the total population is now vaccinated.
