Davenport, IA – According to the court documents, her name is Michelle R. Fix and she allegedly hit Alfonso Reid Jr. with her car on May 1.
The hit-and-run incident lead to his death on May 8.
The 53-year-old woman turned herself in to Scott County authorities on May 28.
Fix is charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing death, a class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
The woman is also charged with failing to provide proof of liability insurance and speeding.
