Man, woman arrested after a shooting at local hospital, police say

Davenport, IOWA – Police officials said the shooting incident occurred right before 1 a.m. early Wednesday morning.

The 21-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with reckless use of a firearm, willful injury causing bodily injury and use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime.

She was later identified as Gsani Bogan.

This unfortunate incident occurred in the lobby of a Davenport emergency room.

The responding officers discovered that the 21-year-old suspect reportedly shot 19-year-old Fasheed Rush as the two fought in the lobby of the emergency room.

Security cameras shows Rush punching the 21-year-old suspect in the face.

The suspect then produced a handgun and fired two shots with one hitting the 19-year-old man in the leg.

19-year-old Rush is now charged with simple assault, police said.
