Davenport, IOWA – According to the statement, the fatal crash occurred right after 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
It happened at the intersection of Kimberly Road and Fairmount Street.
DPD officers responded to a report of a car vs motorcycle crash.
Investigators said a Dodge Journey was traveling westbound on Kimberly Road and made a left turn onto Fairmount Street striking an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
The driver and sole occupant of the Dodge Journey was transported to Trinity Hospitals with minor injuries.
