Black Hawk County, IOWA – According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 8 a.m. Friday.
It happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 63.
Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.
Deputies say that Honda Pilot collided with Freightliner semi-trailer.
The responding deputies found one victim.
Police say the driver of the Honda Pilot suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy One Waterloo Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Freightliner semi was not injured.
