IOWA – According to the court documents, her name is Danielle Weiner, 33-year-old, of Ryan. She is accused in the fatal shooting of Devon Hierrezuelo, 27-year-old, of Oak Law, Illinois.

According to the police report, the shooting occurred approximately at 1 a.m. Monday at the Shady Acres Apartments in Ryan, where arriving sheriff’s deputies found Hierrezuelo dead inside an apartment.

She told investigators that a man entered the apartment and argued with Hierrezuelo before shooting him in the living area and fleeing.

But they say evidence shows Hierrezuelo was shot in the bedroom, then moved to the living area.

There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment and no tire tracks visible in the fresh snow outside the apartment complex.

A resident at the complex called police to report hearing people arguing, then a gunshot. A gun with blood on it was recovered at the scene.
