Scott County Sheriff’s deputies arrest suspect for selling more than 7 grams of meth to an undercover agent

Davenport, IOWA – According to the court documents, his name is Ronald Laverne Hawk and he is charged with one count of possession with the intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say that the charge is a Class B felony and it carries a prison sentence of 25 years.

The 53-year-old man also is charged with violating Iowa’s drug tax stamp law.

On June 6, undercover agents met with the defendant at 1224 N. Perry St.

Prosecutors say the 53-year-old man delivered 7.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine to an undercover agent.
