Davenport, IA – According to the statement, anyone age 64 and younger with medical conditions that are or may be at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 are eligible.

The announcement was made as multiple Iowa counties have stated they are nearing completion for vaccinating previous priority population groups.

People with underlying health conditions now join those with disabilities living in group settings and essential workers as the next groups eligible.

On March 9th, the 211 Call Center will be able to help Iowans age 65 and older who need assistance with appointment scheduling and don’t have access to the technology to do so.
