Cedar Falls, IOWA – According to the Cedar Falls Police, this incident occurred right after 1 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened at 401 Main Street, police said.
Cedar Falls Police officers responded to a disturbance call.
The responding officers discovered that a male subject had just been in an altercation and had pointed a gun at someone.
Officers located the suspect in the back parking lot of the business a short time after the incident.
The 23-year-old suspect, later identified as Malik Nix, was taken into custody and charged with: Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon and Disorderly Conduct.
This incident remains under investigation.
